#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Customer Thank You Cards with a Joyous Noel
Every month I have a great time creating my customer thank you cards. I make a lot each month – approaching 200 – and with the Summer Holidays and the children being off school, I took full advantage of my boys and this time had Jack (15) do my stamping and punching. Yes, I handed over full responsibility for stamping those greetings and punching them out! I can’t believe I did it! Handed over something. But he did a great job, given he’s never done either before, but the Christmas Traditions Punch Box makes it very easy.
I gave him my Tranquil Tide ink, cut the relevant strips of whisper white cardstock (I work out how many I can get from a sheet of paper, then slice enough pieces to keep it easy and without having to count every single one) and dispatched him off to his room with the punch.
It felt like mere minutes and he was back again with the whole lot done. He may find he’s created work for himself as I hand more over to him.
Jacob (10 last weekend) helped me with the punching of the glimmer paper sprigs in the red and green and patiently separated them all after I’d carefully boxed it all up to take on holiday with us, and then promptly forgot.
I was very surprised at how little ribbon I needed. I over estimated and ordered 3 reels, but it actually only took the 1!
Finally, I put everything together and added an epoxy droplet.
I was really pleased with how many variations on one card I could get by using just 2 cardstock colours, and it goes to show that one design and one paper can make a lot of variety.
Have a lovely weekend!
