#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Share What You Love 12×12 No Cut, No Glue Box
Happy Monday everyone!
I have a very unusual box for you today. I was simply playing with a sheet of DSP and scoring it to see what would happen and this is the result!
I’m not even sure what shape you’d call this, but it’s kind of faceted with bits that stick in and bits that stick out… See, this is the struggle I have sometimes, what to call a box!
But it’s a whopper at 4″ (10cm) across the bottom and a little taller and will hold so much stuff. I can see these on a table full of goodies for favours from a party, or even a lavish gift hidden inside with tissue paper too.
However, as I said in the video, I believe that sometimes the paper is all that’s needed and this, for me, is one of those times. Stunning pearl accented paper and just a little ribbon to close.
Will you make some too?
Don’t forget to share if you do!
S x
DSP – 12 x 12″ (30 x 30cm)
Score at 4″ (10cm) on ALL 4 sides.
MARK at 6″ (15cm) on ALL 4 sides.
follow the video to see where to put in the diagonal lines.

Awesome project, Sam. Thanks for sharing. ….love your cat.
I loved seeing the kitten!!! Great box too…. love the ornament design idea. These would also be great wedding favors in an ornament size so the person can use it year after year….
Love the box — love the kitten — though I was shouting warnings at him to get out of the way, or “Sam will fold you up in her box.”
I’m in love with this box! Can’t wait to make my own!!!! Thank you for playing with paper and folding. Love the projects you come up with.
Thank you soooo much. Your Box is beautiful. I think I will try miniaturizing it too. Again Thank You all the way from California.
WOW Sam, very cute box, love the shape. I can’t even imagine just sitting there scoring paper and coming up with something like that. I’ll definitely be making some. I agree that they would make adorable ornaments also.
Thank you, Sam for another beautiful box idea! I tried it with a 6×6 dsp and it was just perfect! Your instructions are consistently crystal clear.
Oh I do love this little box! What a great way to give a little gift or some goodies to eat. Thanks for sharing this with us. I will have to play around with this one, could do it in any size and I love that!
As for the cats coming into the videos, I don’t mind them at all and I’m not really a big cat person. I guess if I was a cat person I wouldn’t wonder how it doesn’t annoy you to have them walking where you want to work, that would drive me nuts. LOL
I love this! Yes, I am already thinking 6×6 DSP for treats! I love seeing your furbabies sneak in and your boys too!
I just love the the design you made, but I really loved seeing your kitty helping you. Mine are always in the thick of things no matter what I’m working on. Thank you!
