#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Spirited Snowmen and new Shimmer Paint
How cute is this card?
I wanted to focus on the snowmen today and the amazing Shimmer Paint that we now have in our catalogue in 4 fabulous colours – Bright Copper, Champagne Mist, Vegas Gold and Frost White which I’ve used on my snowmen.
The paint is easy to use, but do use it sparingly. I just used a cheap paint brush that I had on my desk (well, one of about 8, but the kittens keep stealing the rest) and just took a tiny drop out of the lid of the bottle to colour them in.
You can see from my photo here, where I’ve knocked out the light and dulled it down, that the shimmer really shows up well. It doesn’t photograph particularly well in my studio, hence the picture manipulation to get it to show up, but in real life, it’s amazing and really does make a huge difference.
With the snowmen themselves, I used my Blender Pens and picked up a little ink to colour in the details and then mounted them on a piece of Festive Farmhouse DSP.
Then just a little extra detailing of some snowflakes on the sentiment and a trio of the Frosted Epoxy droplets and it’s a charming little card that shows off the paint so very prettily.
Have a lovely Tuesday everyone!
