#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Petal Promenade Card and Paper Bag Tutorial
Oh I love this bag!
I was reading in my Facebook Group a few days ago and there were more than a few people who were saying they were reluctant to cut into DSP and ‘use it up’ as such. So with that in mind, I wanted to make a lovely bag that really didn’t use up a huge amount of paper, but was still a good size.
So this is what I came up with. Now I have trimmed my cardstock to a ‘universal’ size of 8 x 11″ (20 x 28cm) which takes into consideriation International A4 size and USA 8.5 x 11. I like to make sure everyone can make my projects, regardless of where in the world you are!
But the purpose of the bag is to make it maximum width on the cardstock and then slip in those 2″ (5cm) panels into the sides and I think it achieves that.
You don’t have to put 3″ (7.5cm) wide panels of DSP across the front. I have only because I could, but you don’t have to! You can be even more frugal if you want….
So does it work? I think so! Petal Promenade is such a lovely paper and with the Sahara Sand and Smoky Slate cardstock parts, it works well.
And do you like my final tip? Colouring pink rhinestones with blends to get the perfect colour???
Have a fabulous Friday everyone! I’m off up to Manchester to host a 2.5 day Team Retreat for my amazing team. Next week I will be sharing all sorts and everything with you from it!
