I’m not really one to send cards out in the Autumn particularly, but I do love to have a stash of cards on hand that are for any and all reasons. You know me well enough by now to know that I often send cards ‘just because’ or have them on hand ‘just in case’ and this card I reckon is one of those.

And actually, only one of the sentiments is harvest/autumn/fall related, so actually, it could be an all year round set. Although I’m not sure when cotton is picked (not having it in the UK) but I’m guessing this time of year?!?!?

But it’s a really lovely set of images that work beautifully with the Watercolour Pencils which is exactly what I did here. I just grabbed colours and played, not really paying attention to if they’re the ‘right’ colours or not, just using them because I like them!

I did ponder the background for a while and had planned on just using the Blackberry Bliss cardstock, but it felt a little too dark, so I used one of the sheets from the Country Lane DSP which is a paler version and that set it off nicely.

Easy to create, just lovely to share.
