#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Stamping on Santa’s Bags and Pootlers Team Gifts
So today on #PootlersTeamRetreat Week, I’m sharing the gift that I put together for everyone.
At all our events, they’re totally non profit and my gift to them are any and all projects that I design (I did just one this time out of 6 amazing projects – more later this week) and I always gift them the products that are needed to make the project.
I’m not going to show you just yet what we made, that’s coming on Friday, but I put together almost 50 gifts for the whole team! Aren’t they lovely?
I had loads and loads of boxes of stuff to carry in my car, and decided to take my collapsible boxes for a couple of reasons – firstly I could collapse them to bring them home instead of having to find somewhere to dispose of cardboard boxes – secondly, they’re only about 12″ (30cm) across, so not huge and heavy to carry.
But when you’ve put 200 markers and bags into a box, it gets heavy!
I’ll show you quickly on Friday how to do the stamping (although it’s simply stazon onto the bags) but I wanted to show you how adorable they looked when put together. And I have to say a huge thank you to my 10 year old son Jacob. Last week, I’d put one gift together to decide if I was happy with the look (I was) and then stamped all the bags that I had in the house (only 24 of the 48 I needed). Anyway, I went to close up my office one night and found that someone had been into the office and put them all together.
Turns out Jacob had wandered in, seen the 4 boxes of the separated pens, spotted the stamped bags and worked out for himself what I’d done. Without prompting, showing great initiative, he’d put them together for me. What a star!
Bless him, he hadn’t taken them out of the packaging (the pens I mean) so I didn’t want to spoil his hard work, and I left them as they were except for the one above for the photo. He’s so cute!
Happy Tuesday everyone, oh and a heads up for anyone planning to join me, we are eventing together in Orlando in November, UK in April and a full weekender again hopefully in the summer! We do lots together!

What gorgeous packaging. What a sweet boy to help out on his own. That’s wonderful.
That’s an awesome son you have there. He’s a keeper. When you come to Orlando, you really should invite some of your followers in the States to come over and meet you and have some quality time with our fellow crafters over the pond. I’m just an hour up the road. I know my friend would love it, too, and others. Think about it, if it’s legal for us to do this.
Bless his heart, He loves to help his mumX
What an adorable idea and what a wonderful surprise for you from your son. How sweet is that?!?! Thanks for sharing these.
Jacob as well as all of your kids are absolutely very thoughtful and adorable, just like their mummy. May all of you always be blessed!!!!!
