#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Tropical Chic Lidded Box Tutorial

Pootles’ Super Amazing Enormous Giveaway and Competition 2018 Details HERE

Tropical Chic – not just for summer! Oh I do love this suite! It’s so very lovely and so very on trend. It seems that everywhere I go, I can see home decor items with this pattern – cushions, throws, mugs, curtains, bedding. And I’ve even seen clothes too! It’s all about the leaves this year apparently and no let up anytime soon. So with that in mind, I decided to keep on trend too. Feels a little odd when I’m also working on Christmas projects, but you know me, contrary at any opportunity…!

I love the size of this box – when finished it measures in at 4 x 4 x 2″ (10 x 10 x 5cm) so room for lots.

And other than grabbing my tailored tag punch, I used the suite exclusively and every single bit of it! Stamps, Dies, Ribbon, Elements, Cardstock and Paper. Talk about a showcase!

I hope you have a go at making this project, you’ll be really pleased with the end result.

S x

Cardstock BASE – 8 x 8″ (20 x 20cm)

Score at 2 AND 6″ (5 AND 15cm) on 2 sides

Paper LID – 6 x 6″ (15.25 x 15.25cm)

Score at 15-16ths of an inch (shove it in a little as per the video!) (that’s about 2.3cm)
