Well it’s all going on in today’s card isn’t it!

Let me tell you where it started and where it ended up… This is definitely one of those ‘experimental – let’s see what happens’ kind of cards!

I started off stamping the Dandelion Wishes seed heads onto a piece of whisper white and my original plan had simply been to sponge Highland Heather around the edges, but I pondered how it might look if I smooshed the ink further all over and then pondered more to see what it would like if I made darker splooshes in various places.

I love the effect and was very happy with it.

Then I decided to take it a step further and add shimmer paint. Now I will point out that this was my first use of it and trust me, less is definitely more…. but I was actually pretty happy with the finished result.

However, nigh on impossible to photograph without either losing all the shine or having it glare. So I’m sharing both!!!!

Will I do it again?

Yes!

In a different colour?

Definitely… perhaps a paler colour.

I do like it though and it’s one that definitely looks better in real life than on a computer screen…
