#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – I got nominated in the British Craft Awards 2019
I’m not normally speechless on a Monday morning, but that’s what today found me, when I got word that I’d been nominated in this year’s British Craft awards in the Papercraft Blog category.
This is my 3rd year of being nominated and as you can see from the buttons on the side of the blog here, I’ve won for the past 2 years.
I said last year to Heidi (FlutterbyHeidi) who came with me to the awards, that I keep thinking someone is going to realise there’s some mistake and I’m just me. A woman who blogs about papercraft and loves it. But I guess that someone out there enjoys what I do, cos they keep nominating me and shortlisting me for the award!
So that’s what has left me speechless! I do what I do because I love it. I blog because I want to share, I blog and do my videos to inspire everyone to be creative, even those who say that they aren’t creative at all. I genuinely believe everyone can be crafty, and that’s what I try to share every day.
And every day I get a little fizz and bubble inside when someone leaves a comment or shares the post. Each day is like a bubbly day of fun for me.
So it’s with humble gratitude that I thank those of you who follow my blog and I shall be cheeky and ask if you’d vote for me please.
