#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Vertical Greetings with Stampin’ Write Markers
Does anyone else have a family where birthdays are clustered together with massive gaps between? We are one of those familys, well, when I bring in my parents, brothers and my nieces and nephews. It seems that we go through strange phases where it’s one birthday after another and then huge gaps between. Currently we are in a gap with the last birthday being Jacob’s on September 1st and the next one being Dad’s on November 24th.
So I’m taking this opportunity to get ahead with making as many as I can in readiness for next year – 4 sons, 1 husband, 2 parents, 2 brothers, 2 brothers-fiances, and more nieces and nephews than I can ever remember. And yes, we cluster from mine in March non stop until Jacob in September with poor Dad out on his own!
And that was the reason for bringing you a Brights birthday card today. It may not be bright outside, but come birthday time, it will be!
I used my Stampin’ Write markers from that Brights collection and just picked out the elements of the Vertical Greetings topiary trees where I wanted those colours and then stamped them down to get my own bespoke colours.
If you’ve not bought or used this stamp set before, it’s a really lovely set with a few great ‘all round’ greetings.
And of course, markers are a brilliant addition to your crafting supplies for cards such as this.
Have a lovely Tuesday!
