#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Pootles Advent Countdown 2018 #12 Candy Cane Envelope Punch Board Pouch
It’s Tutorial Bundle Hop time, and we have a brand new bundle for you, as well as the amazing Hop to make your way around too.
Often our hops are in the evening UK time, however, this month we are at 7am on a Friday which is the same time that I have my usual Video Tutorial and Advent Countdown project. Rather than confuse everyone (like last time!), I’ve combined the 2 for you here in one full post. So don’t forget to check all the blogs in the hop (they’re amazing!) and enjoy everything.
I had to do it, it’s Christmas, the Advent Countdown is now at the half way point, and out come the Candy Canes! I do it every year, come up with a pretty way to gift them away and this is my stripy candy cane pouch this year for you!
As we have the Candy Cane Builder Punch and rather darling stamp set, that of course had to come into the project, but I also pulled out the pretty matching paper from the Santa’s Workshop DSP pack too.
Just a head’s up, this suite has been crazy popular to the point that the paper and memories and more cards have been on back order and I’m told, in the USA they aren’t even able to order. So if you’re after some, grab it now!
Anyway, back to the project, it’s super easy to make with the Envelope Punch Board and uses less than a quarter of a sheet of DSP. So when you buy 12 candy canes for £1 (16.5p per pair) and use 1/4 sheet of DSP (26p) your total outlay on the consumable part is just 42.5p per treat. then you just need your stamp and punch and you’ll have them for life!
(Oh and watch the video for a fun word error – glitterise (or is that glitterize) and my challenge is to see if you can get that onto social media, if you do, tag me!)
Have a great Friday everyone!

Very cute! This would work great for other candy sticks and honey sticks too. Love it. Thanks!
Thanks Sam — I think my co-workers will enjoy those! Have a great weekend. It’s beautiful weather here in Texas today — finally!
Great pouches Sam, Love them
Sam these are lovely. I have taken your idea and made some a little smaller so they better fit the local Whittakers chocolate bars. Thank you for more inspiration.
