It’s Treat Friday!
If you’re not familiar with what that is, in our house, we always have a treat on a Friday. It could be an edible treat, or a trip out. Sometimes a book or a movie or a late night. It means that the children don’t ask throughout the week for things, and it means that yes, I can treat them and indulge them, but in managed moderation!
And today I have 2 mini Christmas Chocolate bars inside these lovely little paper boxes.
I picked mine up in The Range, but if you can’t get them or don’t have a Range store near you, the boxes are 0.75 x 2 x 3.5″ when finished (that’s 2 x 5 x 8.5cm) so you know they’re cute little boxes which will fit narrow chocolates or sweeties in. Chocolate coins would work well, or perhaps mini candy canes?
And while I remember, you can make 4 from one single sheet of DSP. Perfect for my 4 boys, same paper, no arguments…
I love how the boxes look, and even though they’re paper, they’re quite sturdy!
And how lovely is that string of bulbs on the front? I wish Christmas lights still looked like that, but then I think I’ve just totally aged myself as having been born in the 70s….
So if you’re having a treat today, you totally deserve it.

Very cute little box, looks like it would fit the bars I get at Aldi that are so yummy. Thanks for another fun project and video. Can’t believe we are so close to the end of the holiday series.
