Oh I am super dooper mega excited to share this project with you. I’ve been waiting for the perfect project to put the Black Magic Technique onto and this is it.
I can’t take any credit for this idea whatsoever, one of the amazing ladies in my team, Janice Thomson, created a card way back in February and I just loved it.
It’s crazy easy, you stamp and heat emboss with white embossing powder, then colour the embossed areas with Blends (our own Alcohol Markers). That’s it.
Seriously, you’d think it was some kind of alchemy going on, I guess that’s the reason for the name. And it’s just stunning.
But rather than put it onto a card, I decided to add it to a bag. Now I’ve done black backs with white stamping and heat embossing before, but I paired my project with Janice’s idea, and look what happened!
Enjoy the video and please please have a go at this technique. You’ll love it!
