#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Feathers and Frost & Frosted Florals Customer Thank You Cards
How lovely are these cards?
I had a lot of fun making these and had some great quality time with my 13 year old son Luke.
He did every bit of stamping of those squared leaves for me – all 192 of them!
Thank goodness for the Stamparatus…. I’d pre cut the squares, and then lined up the stamp on my stamparatus, then left him to it with the 4 ink colours to match the cardstock, well except the Blackberry Bliss. We discovered tone on tone stamping doesn’t work on that, and changed it to Blackberry Bliss on white.
And the reason for the tone on tone wasn’t just because that looks gorgeous, but so that I could wash the inside of some of the leaves with Wink of Stella to lift the image a little.
I did however decide to keep the sentiment in Gray Granite, just for ease and Luke again did all that for me too.
So all I then did was assemble everything I’d cut and he’d stamped.
One card would be quick to do, and when I designed this for the almost 200 I needed, I made sure it was one that you can all recreate at speed too. It took me about 5 evenings, so if you’re making lots of Christmas Cards, this could be a design for you.
