#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Beautiful Customer Thank You cards using All My Love and Butterfly Gala
How pretty are these cards?
These all went in the post last week for the amazing ladies and gentlemen who shopped with me in December and it was lovely to make them all.
December is a very busy month, not just the prep for Christmas itself, but then the ‘time off’ over the festive period itself. We had family visiting us, so I wanted to get as much of the cards done prior to Mum and Dad arriving with me, so I went with simple but pretty as my theme.
Thankfully the paper is absolutely beautiful, so I let it do most of the work for me, but there was one evening while I sat chatting to Mum and Dad while stamping and punching butterflies, than another where I stamped and punched the greeting.
Final assembly of the cards came about just after Christmas but in time for me to parcel up (along with loads of goodies and treats!) on New Year’s Day and they went in the post the following day.
To make the number of cards I need (in this case, 192 were made) I cut 4 packs of cardstock in half to give me the 192 blanks I needed. My DSP needs came to 32 sheets, so a little under 3 packs. Then it was around 1 full pack of whisper white for the stamping and punching.
And as you can see, I have 3 coloured card blanks – Lovely Lipstick, Flirty Flamingo and Crumb Cake with all the cards having Crumb Cake sentiments and either Flirty Flamingo or Lovely Lipstick butterflies. I like to switch the colours around and get cards that are similar but different enough to get a good variety.
I probably could have got even more combinations out of it, but I reckon 18 is pretty good going!
I’m already well into my January thank you cards – I tend to start right at the beginning of the month and get lots of evenings set aside to stamp, cut, punch, assemble. I also watch a lot of my favourite movies during that time too!
Happy Tuesday everyone, and thank you so much to everyone who shops with me.
