#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Pootlers Team Blog Hop – Geared Up Classic Garage
Wahoo! It’s Team Hop Time!
This is the point in the brand new catalogue calendar that our team hops together to showcase loads of different craft projects with you and I couldn’t be more excited.
Down at the bottom you’ll see a list of all the participants that Hannah McCurley has created for us. Don’t forget to click on everyone’s links!
And when I was pondering my project for this hop, I decided to go a little left field and create a card for my husband to share with you too.
I had a bit of a scramble at the end as he came home from work a bit before I had finished it, so I was calling out “I’ll be down in a minute” as he’s walking upstairs to my office. But I got it done and hidden under my grid paper before he saw it. Though he managed to catch me in the act of taking photos before I’d given it to him!!!
And he really loves it!
If you’re not familiar with my husband’s hobby, he is a motorbike fan. He has 2 that he rides regularly but he also bought the frame and guts of a bike a while back and spent about 8 months converting the frame and the box of bits (literally it was a box of bits!) into a cafe racer style bike, not dissimilar to the one on the DSP in the background.
He’s very much a tinkerer of bikes and his garage is directly below my office, so on the odd occasion, we can hear him on my videos when he’s in there! And if he’s particularly noisy, yes I will mention it on camera!
However, getting back to the card, or more specifically the DSP, when I was making it, Jack (my 15 year old) had come in to the office to chat to me and he fell on the paper and was rifling through it all. He’s a huge fan of car movies and clearly is a bit of a petrol head – something I was unaware of – as he was telling me all the types of car and then going to google to show me the full colour versions of them. It’s not easy to see in the catalogue pictures, but there’s a black sheet that has the same pencil style imagery as this bike style. He loved it and promptly pinched a couple of my sheets!
Anyway, Chris loved the card, and the little tools embellishments. Jack pinched some sheets (so that’s high praise right there too!) and I hope you like it too!
And don’t forget, stamp the inside and the envelope too….!

#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Independent Demonstrator
You can buy Stampin’ Up! online easily through my Stampin’ Up! shop link on the right hand side, or within this blog post.
You can also join Stampin’ Up! through similar links too! I have various FAQ and joining Stampin’ Up! pages on the blog, so do click around!
I cover the UK, The Netherlands, Germany, France and Austria with my shop, but also my team too, so you can join me in those countries also!
And of course, you can find me on facebook, instagram, pinterest and on YouTube as a Guru with my account name as PootlesPapercraft, however, I’m scattered everywhere as Pootles!
I would very much like to know WHY you don’t sell to Italy but sell to France, Austria and Germany that border it. Sometimes I would like to purchase stamps and die cuts without having to pay two arms and three legs on Ebay.
Thank you.
Stampin Up isn’t open in Italy unfortunately, only the 5 countries shown. It’s a legal and tax thing rather than location thing. It’s frustrating I know. I’m so sorry
It’s not by choice. Stampin’ Up! only allows us to sell in certain countries (US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, and the UK). It doesn’t mean we’ll NEVER sell there, but we just don’t currently.
Perhaps with enough interest, Italy will be added eventually. Try contacting the company (00800 31 81 82 00) to let them know you are interested…maybe you can become one of the first Demonstrators there.
thank you for responding so quickly.
I don’t think I have enough creativity to become a demonstrator.
if you could provide an email address I would appreciate it.
I prefer writing than calling.
Sincerely
Rita Daina Andreetto
Beautiful. I really love this Suite!
I love the Suite too 🙂
Sam, I am disappointed. I was so wanting ideas for the Geared up Garage and the blog hop only had one card using that set. There were some really lovely cards using other sets, especially the butterfly gala. Thanks,
Love it Sam and pleased Chris did too.
I struggle to make men’s cards but this set look perfect for any man
xx
Men’s Cards! Such a pain to do. I am so glad SU bought something out to help us with this. I love the layout you did Sam. That paper with the nuts on almost looks like mini flowers, it adds a softer touch which I think is really nice. Definately another stamp set on my ever growing wish list. This blog has not done my bank balance much good lol. But the ladies have such a lot of talent, I hope I can learn from you all. x
Great DSP for male cards
