#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – SpringWatch 2019 Botanical Butterfly Reinforced Lidded Box Tutorial
I can’t believe we are at the end of SpringWatch already. 14 videos back to back. That’s almost 5 weeks worth of video tutorials in 2 weeks!
I love it though, even if it is a lot of work in advance and a lot of designing. But this year, I couldn’t stop making and creating and I have a list of another 30 (yes, that’s 30!) video project ideas ready to get filmed. That’s how amazing this catalogue of products is. I just.can’t.stop.making!!!!
But I decided to end this year’s series with the focus on Free. Free Paper, Free Ribbon. Yes, no cost, and an awful lot of pretty!
This particular pattern in the free Botanical Butterflies paper hadn’t really caught my attention. I’d been too much in love with the black and white styling, but when I stopped and took a look again, I decided that it was so pretty, it could work with any of the colours in the free Organdy Ribbon bundle, hence why I used the same paper but one is matched with Balmy Blue and Highland Heather, whereas the one on film is paired with Lemon Lime Twist and Daffodil Delight.
In my original project I used ink and wink of stella to colour my Butterfly Gala stamped and punched butterflies, but the day before, I’d seen THIS project by Helzie Slimm who’s in my team. I adore her TimeLapse Tuesday videos and this one caught my attention, so I decided to have a little play with my Blends too. Cute cute!
Have a lovely Sunday everyone, and while SpringWatch is over for this year, I am back tomorrow with my usual videos – Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays. Every week!

Oooo Sam they are sooooo lovely X
Very pretty. I notice you don’t use the middle for the butterfly’s body. You don’t even really need it. I’m not a fan of tiny parts, LOL
Thanks for all the projects for Spring Watch. They were all beautiful. I look forward to your projects every day.
Thankyou! x
Oh My Goodness, what gorgeous paper! Love this little box, thanks for sharing it.
I’ve been so crazy busy that I got behind on your videos, just finished them up now and can’t believe Spring Watch is over.
Thanks for all the videos and posts you do, wish I had time to make them all.
Thankyou and you’re welcome! x
Sam. I am a big fan of yours. I love watching your videos on box making. I find that most of the times when I need a box, there are not p,aces that have boxes to purchase and there are really no box size that I could use. I made few boxes this Christmas and they were the right fit. Than k you so much, I truly appreciate all those projects you make. And also the ideas you give. Thank you.
Thank you! xx
Thank you so much! xx
