#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Hey Love, Adorable Otter Valentine’s Card Idea
How adorable is this otter? He’s just so cute, and he’s clearly relaxing back and thinking of the one he loves. Or is he a she… I’m not sure!
It’s an amusing play on words and totally tickled this girl’s funny bone! I could make this card for my husband and he’d totally get the joke, equally my boys would love it too!
I coloured my otter with my watercolour pencils and added shading where I felt it was necessary, however, as very much a cartoony animal, I wasn’t too worried about accurate shades and tones. I just coloured and had fun.
I did want to bring the hearts from the All My Love DSP in, and with the heart thought bubble from the otter and then a trio of heart epoxy shapes, I think this card is pulled together with black cardstock as the accent.
