#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Nine Lives, Stamped & Punched Card for Cat Lovers
I love cats. This is quite possibly not new information, but I’m using this as a really good excuse to share a picture of my 3 kitties curled up in front of our log burner. They’re all girls and other than when I was very small, we’ve only ever had females. Not sure there’s a deep rooted reason for that, I’ve just always gone for female felines!
Fennel, on the right hand side, is a blue Burmese of almost 15 years, then in the middle is Sorrel who’s an 18 month old F7 chocolate spot Savannah, and Berry on the left is an 18 month old rosette Bengal. I adore them all and they have the most wonderful personalities. Fennel is a bit of a grump these days and in her senior years, she’s after company and a warm place to sleep. I’m soft enough to have put 3 cat beds onto one of my desks in my office. The one that’s conveniently placed over a radiator, and she spends most of her time there. The other 2 are super mischievous and Berry is the little lady who pops up in my videos every now and again! She loves the limelight! Sorrel is everso funny and picks up toys in her mouth and then runs around the house meowing while she’s holding it. It’s as though she wants us to know she’s captured a toy!
As I type this, Fennel is sleeping in her basket, Berry is flat on her back in hers while washing her face and Sorrel is considering attacking my computer mouse….
My card however isn’t modeled on any of my cats, but simply on a kitty that made me smile.
I do love the Nine Tails set though, you can mix and match the stamps and create your own unique cat in whatever colours they are.
Stamping and punching is what brought me to Stampin’ Up! in the first place, and I love that my cards are a reflection not just of who I am (crazy cat lady!) but also that I can make them easily. I really can’t do fussy cutting all that well and I’m a bit wibbly when I stamp, so to get the perfect image, beautifully cut out is a winner for me!
So I hope you like my simple card with a pretty cat on the front. Because frankly, all cats are pretty. Yes even the boys!

Love your kitties, they are all beautiful. I have for the most of my life had boys, but in the last few years had a girl in the mix. They are all purr-fectly huggable and with different personalities. Now I need to sit back and do some petting as I am being stared at!

I was really glad to see the Nine Lives Stamp Set and can’t wait to try it out. I am still really new at paper crafting and I wanted to tell you your instructions are the best. You are a great teacher. Too bad I live in Canada or I would join your team.

Gorgeous cats Sam. We have one male black domestic cat named Matrix, he’s 9 years old. We also have one male boxer dog named Tyson. Between them, my husband and our son, I am the only female. It’s a good thing you have females, with all the males in your house, LOL
