#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – No Cut Clutch Bag using Stampin’ Up! Needlepoint Nook
This past weekend, I was out in Paris with one of my team leaders over there, and her team. Sophie Prestrelle has been with me 4 years now and this is the 2nd year she’s invited me to join her and her team for the weekend and we had a lot of fun!
I will share more photos later in the week, but I wanted to show you the project that I taught them. It was very much a ‘team effort’ in that there were different people teaching projects and this was mine!
A no cut hand bag. I very much see French women as having a style that I, in all my Britishness, could never emulate. They just exude style and grace and I immediately thought of accessories when I was coming up with a project for them.
There was more than a little trial and error involved in getting the sides to pull in at just the angle that I could envisage, but that’s my job. To make the mistakes so you don’t have to!
I do have a PDF download for you to use as a scoring guide. Please note, it’s not to scale (that’s technology beyond my capabilities!) but it will show you where to score which is really all you need.
And while I’m showing you Needlepoint Nook and the Butterfly Gala bundle, I taught the French team a totally different look. But that’s their perk to seeing that one…!
So I hope you enjoy today’s video and that you have a go at making one. I promise, it’s easy to make!

Thankyou! x
A very cute bag ! And so easy to realise (I had to try and make it this evening)! Many thanks for this tutorial and best regards from a French girl in Germany. Vinie
WOW Sam, that is a gorgeous bag. I love it. I can’t wait to try to make one or a few to give little gifts in. Thank you so much for always sharing your creations.
Love this bag! Gonna make one for the b-day gift for my niece. On a side note — just realized I’ve been saying ‘wibble’ lately. I’m in Texas!! Texans don’t even know what that means. lol
How lovely! I wish this had come sooner, my little Godchild is having a spa day birthday party, where they will be doing their nails etc. This would have been adorable to use as goodie bags for the polish etc that they will be getting. Love it. Thanks for this great project, I’ll keep it for another time.
I am sure that your godchild will love it! xx
I was so inspired by this gorgeous bag that I immediately had to try it for myself. You can see my CASEd projects at https://angelstamps1.blogspot.com/2019/02/no-cutting-required.html.. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
I made your large clutch purse and gave it to my cousin for her btdy. She loved it, and so did I. This morning 3/3/19 your page had the mini version and I just finished it. It is absolutely adorable, thank you so much for your amazing project designs and wonderful instructions.
You are very welcome and i am glad that you enjoyed the large version aswell as the miniature version! xx
