#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Tropical Chic bag for Body Shop or L’Occitane Hand Cream
Treat Friday, it’s Treat Friday!
And today, I have a treat for us! No sweeties here, just lovely luxury hand cream, all packaged up prettily!
It’s also the All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop, so down at the bottom are links to all the other All Stars so check out their blogs. I love to hop with them, but every 2nd month, the hop happens at the same time as my regular Friday video. So I’m mixing them up and putting the 2 together!
I was inspired a while ago to create a project using some L’Occitane products when one of the lovely ladies in my team, Heather Forgan of Nellie’s Hobbies had posted in our group and I’d admired the box (which is all she’d shown) and I commented that it looked like a posh box for fancy soap. To which she showed me that it did indeed hold posh stuff! L’Occitane posh stuffs in my much loved Cherry Blossom fragrance.
So although it’s a few weeks since she posted her project HERE, it was there in the back of my mind and I love that we inspire one another, even if it’s simply the contents of our bags and boxes!
Mine is made using a sheet of the lovely Tropical Escape DSP, in fact, just less than a sheet as it needs a little trim down before you get scoring, but it’s a great finished size of 1 x 1.5 x 5″ (2.5 x 4 x 12.75cm) so even if you’re not putting hand cream in, you can put other treats and sweets in.
And it was the blossom fragrance that sent me on the Tropical Escape route with the matching palm leaves stamps and dies and then a little ribbon too.
Have a lovely Treat Friday, and don’t forget to treat yourself too. You’re worth it!

- DSP – 6 x 5.5″ (15.25 x 14cm)
- Score on the LONG side at 1, 2.5, 3.5, 5″ (2.5, 6.5, 9, 13cm)
- Score on the SHORT side at 1″ (2.5cm)

Hi Sam! Thank you for the fantastic ‘customer rewards gifts’ and the beautiful ‘thank you’ card- I Stampin ‘Up crafting products- especially the beautiful range of colours they use.
You’re the best demonstrator- I shopping with you!
Insert ‘love’ after ‘I’- my heart symbols didn’t come out!
Thank you! xx
Hi Sam, although I love all your projects, my e.mail is basically to say thank you so much! I received my gift in the post today and it was a lovely, unexpected surprise. Considering that this time, all I’d placed an order for was a pack of replacement trimmer blades, the most I had expected was a thank you card. That is a nice enough gesture in itself, along with the lovely, chatty letter( which has far from mundane content)..but there was more. Not only a pack of beautiful stick on embellishment beads, but a fabulous hole punch. I was gobsmacked and totally thrilled. The punch works effortlessly, and the largest sized bead completes my flower centre to perfection!! I’m putting together my wish list for my next order,as having just spent quite some time cutting out large flower petal shapes by hand to make a flower embellishment, a petal punch is top of the list! I always look forward to your email blog tutorials, and have made so many of your boxes( hence the need for replacement blades) that all my friends and relatives were on the receiving end of some wonderful gifts this Christmas. I love making them, and lose myself completely whilst crafting, which has been a great relaxer, as life has been quite difficult recently. Your instructions are so easy to follow, produce perfect results every time, and are entertaining and amusing. Thank you again for making my day. Even the postman was chuffed to have been the bringer of such a welcome parcel. Living in the Scottish Highlands, the ‘postie’ is more than just a deliverery service. He often stops for a brief chat whilst I’m opening mail, and is very often present when I squeal delightedly at the contents of a parcel. It makes his day as well! See…you’ve made at least two people happy today Sam! Love and best wishes to you and your family.
This is so sweet and thank you so much for your kind words and i am sure that the products i sent to you will be put to good use no doubt about it! xx
Today I received my lovely thank you card for my order I placed in January.I just need to say to you Sam “Thankyou so much for the embellishments and the fabulous hole punch. You are so generous “
I am very glad you like them and i am sure they will be put to good use! xx
Great use of the Tropical Escape DSP for this chic bag for creams and lotions. Beautiful idea! Thanks for being part of our All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team!
xx
I’m so far behind on watching your videos! Things have been so busy lately, I just haven’t had the time to watch. Finally getting to them. This is such a cute little giftie, I love it. Thanks for another fun project and video.
