Floral Romance Vellum Wrap Box Tutorial

#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Floral Romance Vellum Wrap Box Tutorial

This vellum is just so beautiful isn’t it? I really wanted to show it to you, and without having to ‘hide’ too much of it away as I snuck adhesive in strategic places, so I decided a pretty wrap was the way to go.

There is a reason for creating it this size, if you want, you could use the scalloped tag topper to close it and use ribbon, but actually, it has ended up as a rather lovely size (3 x 2 x 2″ or 7.5 x 5 x 5cm) and would be lovely with some yummy posh chocolates inside or a small bottle of perfume. Perhaps hand-cream or skincare items?

And having patterned paper doing so much of the work, I didn’t want to hide anymore away than necessary, so that’s why the Bitty Blooms flowers are scattered all over. They’re so delicate and pretty, much like the paper. However, as I share in the video (because I’m a firm believer in full and frank honesty) the pearls did not want to stay stuck to the vellum flowers, hence my decision to move to the Fresh Fig cardstock flowers instead. I like to think that I make the mistakes so that you don’t have to….

I hope you like the vellum as much as me though. I can’t stop using it!

S xx

Cardstock – 7 x 6″ (17.5 x 15cm)
Score at 2″ (3cm) on all 4 sides

Vellum Wrap for using the Triple Banner Punch – 11-5/8 x 2″ (29.5 x 5cm)
If you are just creating a wrap and adhering it together underneath, you can adjust to around 10.75″ (28.5cm)

So cute, love the flowers. I do love vellum but, sometimes have a hard time thinking how to use it. Thanks for an idea Sam.

Would you please share your measurements for your different mats and DSP sizes? I really love this card! I’ve been a fan of mushrooms since I was very little! TFS!
