#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Hello Cupcake Sale a Bration FREE Stamp Set with Twinkle Twinkle Paper
How cute is this?
My boys and I make cakes on a semi regular basis, but as they’re boys, and young, they tend to go all out with the colours of the cakes and the buttercream topping. I share with you the evidence of some recent exploits (yes, that’s my piping on the fairy cakes!)
So we will happily turn our frosting any colour they fancy, from camouflage green to neon pink and everything in between. We experiment!
And as I’ve been baking with my boys since they were very small, I decided to bring in the Twinkle Twinkle paper – more frequently seen with baby themed projects – and add a matching pink-topped cupcake to it.
I love that the stamp set was free, we all love stuff we don’t have to pay for, and though we have framelits to match now available, I made this card about 6 weeks ago, just as Sale a Bration started, and I didn’t even know about them at that time! Yes, I work that far ahead!
So with a little Pool Party for the cake case, some Sahara Sand for the fairy cake itself, then Petal Pink buttercream on top, it just needed a little Twinkle sequin scatter and done!
Have a lovely day everyone, and if you’re baking, share some photos!

Thanks for sharing all your lovely cakes with all the colors that you and your boys have made. Very interesting. I never did that with mine (I have 3 boys now grown up with little ones of their own) but my youngest came up with interesting flavors to put together and we still enjoy them!
That sounds very lovely will have to try adding new interesting flavours! x
