#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – How Sweet It Is for my Birthday! Birthday Box Using 1 Strip of Adhesive….
Happy Wednesday everyone. And Happy 13th March too….. Yes, today is my birthday and I’m taking the day off! Chris is on night duty tonight unfortunately, so we are going out for the day – I’m sure for lunch somewhere lovely – then Mum and Dad will be coming over to join me and the children for the evening (Chris goes off to work at 5.45pm, quite early) but I wanted to have a project for you that was very me!
One of my earliest projects when I first started filming, was a project that looked similar to this and needed just one strip of adhesive.
The opening appears to be at the front, and while yes you can open it that way, it’s actually at the bottom! You’ll see it on the video, but it’s there.
And as this was one of my early projects and what I became rapidly known for, it makes sense to share a ‘me’ project today!
And the reason for the How Sweet It Is suite is because I use the words Sweet and Sweeties when I’m talking of edible sweet treats, I don’t use the word Candy, and as soon as I saw this collection in the catalogue, I just knew it was perfect for me!
I’ve used it so so much and like the All My Love DSP from Monday, I’m running low, so perhaps tomorrow I will pop in an order for more!
I like to mostly use the framelits for this suite, particularly as the DSP is designed to work with them, and you know me, quick and gorgeous crafting is the way to go, but I fancied a change and did some stamping and colour bleeding with Wink of Stella for a glittery finish!
Have a wonderful Wednesday, and if you’re celebrating your birthday today (or a loved one perhaps) let us know here and we can all wish you a lovely day too.
