#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Sale a Bration Lasting Lily Fold Over Box Tutorial
When I was filming this video, I was fully aware that this was due out today, just 2 days before the end of Sale a Bration and the Coordination Limited Edition sets, hence the inclusion of the stamp set and dies, but I had totally forgotten that today is my 6th Stampin’ Anniversary!
So it seems fitting that I happened by pure chance to have chosen Merry Merlot (my next favourite colour after Cherry Cobbler!) in my original version and used the Lasting Lily stamp set (I had calla lilies in my bridal bouquet and they’re my favourite flower).
I have loved every moment of my time as a demonstrator and hope for a many more. I won’t tell my story all over again, but I will say that this year I’m pushing hard towards a personal goal of 1 Million in sales and I’m getting ever closer every day.
It’s all of you who spur me on to achieve it. If I think back to where I was 6 years ago as a fresh new demo, with hopes of getting a slightly larger profit margin on my fully-created projects that I sold, and here I am having earned numerous incentive trips, with an incredible team all over our European countries and on the road to a major milestone.
So to everyone who shops with me, thank you thank you thank you! You’re helping me get there! My family is a huge part of all that I do, and next year I shall be taking my eldest son Jack on the Maui Hawaii incentive trip (he will be 17 by then) and the million sales milestone includes a trip to the home office in Utah, and my 2nd son Luke will be joining me for that. He’s 14 this summer, so a perfect age to experience what I do.
They work with me in my office, helping to stuff envelopes, and sometimes they stamp my thank you cards for me or put the millions of dimensionals on! They also see me working hard and they know that I am keeping them fed and clothed and with a roof over their heads. So it’s a great opportunity for me to spend time with them and let them see the other side of Mum’s job.
And in case you’re thinking “what about Chris?” Well, he’s coming on the Greek Island Cruise with me this year. And the other 2 boys, well at only 8 and 10, they’re just a little too young yet. Their time will come!
So I hope you like my lasting lily box that just somehow turned out to be the perfect project for today and I love how it looks.

Happy Anniversary for your SU demonstratorship! You are a fabulous person to share all you do and so generous in doing so. I wish I was over in your area to buy from you, but I’m in the US so I just hope you make your million in sales real soon and can’t wait to see pics of you in Utah! It’s a beautiful place and hope you get to see a lot of the area when you do get there. I lived near Salt Lake when I was a small child and have been there two times for convention, but unfortunately I’m not a demo any longer. Had 2 tries at it, just didn’t work well for me, but I love the products! Thanks for another amazing project!
Gorgeous, love it.
Congratulations on your SU anniversary, and good luck in reaching your 1 million dollars in sales! You’re very creative and talented and I appreciate your sharing with us–thank you!
Ah I’ve not hit the million yet, but I’m heading in the right direction!
Very well done to you Sam!!
Million in sales, very impressive (well in your words nearly there). I’m pretty sure you will make it!!!
