#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Forever Lovely Stamparatus Customer Thank You Notecards
Happy Saturday everyone!
As you know, I spend the whole month designing and creating and putting together my customer thank you cards for that month, then put them in the post on the 1st of the following month along with a goodie pack of thank you treats and a special newsletter. I feel it’s so important to get them out right at the start of the month, and it’s only if the 1st falls on a Sunday that they go a day later!
So I tend to spend the whole of the prior month working on the cards and these were no different, despite the initially simple appearance of them.
When you stop and look at them, you’ll see that each floral flourish has been stamped twice in Granny Apple Green and a colour (Blueberry Bushel, Real Red, Blushing Bride and Gorgeous Grape) and that’s what required time.
I can however say that my Stamparatus played a huge part in this process.
I needed to make sure that my stamping was totally accurate on every one of the almost 200 cards that I made, and I can hand on heart say that yes, they’re all identically aligned!
I stamped all the coloured flowers first, then came in with the leaves afterwards. I did do the set up for both stamps first, but once I had that done, it was a simple and gentle process working through them all.
The greeting is also done with the Stamparatus. I was very tempted to hand stamp that, but I decided that as I was using the Stamparatus for the other part, I may as well go the whole way with it!
I love how they came out, the detailing on the Forever Lovely stamp set is sublime – all those different textures and shades. Just charming.
Have a lovely day everyone, and I hope that all those who received one love it too!
