#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – English Tea Shop Teabag Pouch
How pretty are these little teabag pouches?
I was rummaging about in my Inspiration Drawers (for that, read stuff-shoved-in-drawer-to-use-at-later-date) and I found some of the adorable English Tea Shop teabags that I’ve used in the past in other projects.
They’re flavoured teas and come in a huge variety of colours and flavours and I thoroughly enjoy using them as an inspiration kick off point.
I wanted to make another pouch after you all enjoyed my Fable Friends one of a few weeks back, but this time it’s perfectly sized for these teabags, with a little extra room at the top incase you want to close it slightly differently.
I do show on camera that the detail on the front of the teabags is a teapot with tiny flowers all over it, not dissimilar to the sample shown in the Spring Catalogue, so it was a given that I used the Tea Together set. Although the teapot was a little large, but I loved the flowers and decided to use those.
Confession time – I much prefer my 2nd version!!!
For me, it’s quite important that I share my projects in their entirety, even if I’m not totally happy with the finished result. I make the mistakes so you don’t have to….
So my original version showed watercolour pencils and blender pens with mixed results. But I work with Stampin’ Blends on the filmed version and it’s much nicer!
I hope you like my little teabag pouches and perhaps have a play with Blends too.
