#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – A Floral Apron of Love
I cannot believe that I’ve waited so long to get the Apron Of Love stamp set and dies. How pretty is this card, why did i wait?
I’ve seen lots of projects using it with the cookery equipment and crafting tools, but I wanted to put flower on mine.
I used to have a very pretty set of oven gloves in a floral design (I’ve used them as inspiration in the past) and while I no longer have them, I love the idea of florals in a kitchen.
So a die cut crumb cake apron with die cut blushing bride flowers and stamped call me clover stems on it, then matching stamped flowers across the back. I went with pear pizzazz stems this time and again, blushing bride flowers
Once I’d put it together, it felt it needed something more, so I added a scattering of blackberry bliss hearts and the strong colour works so well with the softer shades.
So I plan to play more with the Apron of Love and hope that my floral design inspires you.
