There are days when I look out on my back garden and just love all the greenery around.

I live in an old old market town and though there are new houses being built all the time (mine is only 15 years old), the people who’s garden backs onto mine have left all their trees and they’re just incredible.

We are fortunate that the previous owners of our house put in some magnificent trees and shrubs, and those backed by the enormous trees and fruit trees of my neighbours means that I feel right inside the country. And it’s totall silent here, we are a small private road of just 5 houses and the bird song is all I can hear most of the time.

So when I was planning today’s project, I decided to get back to nature with my crafting too.

Rooted In Nature and Nature’s Poem is a lovely lovely suite and it doesn’t take a huge amount of effort to make a stunning box, so that’s exactly what I did!

This is one of my popular sized boxes finishing at 5 x 3.25 x 1.5″ (12 x 8 x 4cm) it’s perfect to show off these beautiful stamps.

I went with Soft Suede on the tree stump and Shaded Spruce for the tree with Blackberry Bliss on my words.

Rather a nice combination i think!
