Who says you can’t have a fabric kitty? Not me!

There are a lot of crocheters and sewers in my public craft group on facebook and I am endlessly impressed by their talents.

While I can’t sew and I can only knit a hole, I love fabric and I’m charmed by beautiful prints.

And with 3 cats in my house, I loved the idea of having a fabric cat on my card!

My base is Berry Burst and the repeated stamped sentiment is also that colour. I went by eye, but the Stamparatus would help here (hinge step technique!)

I die cut a Stitched Shapes Oval and when I layered it all together, it felt like the pieces were blending all together, so I grabbed a sponge and went around the edges of the cat, oval and paper with more Berry Burst. And with what as left on the sponge I ran it along a piece of whisper white baker’s twine to tint that for the cat’s neck.

Rather lovely and a bit of fun!
