#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Butterfly Gala Blends Card Tutorial
Blends really are a crafters best friend when colouring isn’t something you do that often.
I confess, I used to love colouring as a child and would spend hours on it, but as I’ve got older, it’s not something I do all that often – I think it’s because I really struggle with those overlapping ‘shading’ lines that you get from a regular felt-tipped pen (you know the ones I mean, and I know I’m not alone!)
But I really love using our Blends, the work is done for me, I don’t need to worry about those annoying lines and they really do make me look like a talented artist!
However, I really really love colour bleeding with wink of Stella too, so I decided to mix up and use both on today’s Butterfly Gala card.
Please don’t worry too much about the measurements of the card. I work in International A4 which is narrower but longer than US letter size. But do take your cardstock sheet, cut it in half then score it in half. Whatever size your layers are, make sure you cut off the same amount on both the length and the width.
