A Little Lace Wink of Stella Card Tutorial

Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – A Little Lace Wink of Stella Card Tutorial

I love to do colour bleeding with Wink of Stella, and though I do put it on cards quite frequently, I haven’t shown cards as a tutorial much in the past, but of course, with all the change and adding in 2 extra videos a week, I thought this would be a great technique to show.

The A Little Lace set is rather lovely with the elegant and fine detail on the stamps and the rather lovely words. It means that you get a really crisp sharp stamped image (they’re red rubber) and nothing is lost in the stamping, but if you use a rich deep colour, you can bleed out the ink quite easily.

I love to use neutrals with subtles as a colour combination but for filming purposes I decided to go with a darker neutral so that you could see better!

As always with my cards, because I work in International A4 which is a metric size, but I have people watching and reading who not only work in possibly imperial rather than metric, or who are using USA 8.5 x 11″ cardstock, I’m not writing down the measurements – simply cut your size cardstock in half and score it in half, then make sure your layers inside that main area have equidistant spaces on either side!

Have a great day!
