Silhouette Scene Milk Carton Tutorial

#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles- Silhouette Scene Milk Carton Tutorial

When I first saw the silhouette scene paper, it was the colours that drew me in first. I love bright colours and rainbow splashes, but as it happens, this project here is the first one I’ve created using it, and there’s not a rainbow or bright colour in sight!
As I was pondering what to make, I had this vision of the couple under the umbrella being protected from a storm, and then it sort of went from there.
I would have loved to have done some heat embossing with the new shimmer embossing powders, however they’re currently held up in customs right now, so I decided to go with straight ink.
As you can see from the first one, Memento doesn’t have the depth of black I wanted, but I used Stazon for the second version. And yes, using my Stamparatus meant that I could ink it over and over a couple of times to really get the richness.
I do plan to use the more brightly coloured papers soon, but I hope you love the simplicity and impact of this first play.

Super cute project Sam. I really haven’t made up my mind on this stamp set quite yet. However I think for some crafters it would be a must have.
