Today I’m trying something a little different. I adore making layered cards – paper backed by beautiful matching cardstock – but I don’t often make cards like this one.

I love to see them as sample ideas in the catalogues, but it’s not often that I have a go. I just find it hard not to have those extra backing layers of cardstock!!

But I do love how they look in the catalogue, so I had a go.

I’m not convinced that mine is as pretty as the catalogue ones, but I do love the paper, and having received the stamp set for free at OnStage in April (got to love demonstrator perks), I wanted to use that one with the matching punch.

Will I have another go? Possibly – creativity is all about having fun and playing…
