Free as a Bird Purse with Blends

Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Free as a Bird Purse with Blends

Well I think it’s fact now, we have all fallen for the Free as a Bird stamp set and Bird Ballad paper and suite. There are so many amazing projects out there on the internet already, but I wanted to add another! And this is it!

I’ve made a lovely little bag/purse and simply decorated it with coloured DSP and then taken time to stamp and colour the birds with my Blends. I can’t decide which I like best, the Lovely Lipstick/Blushing Bride combo or the Highland Heather/Purple Posy pair…. Both of them!

And how lovely is the DSP with it? I love the look of this, and actually, I’d rather like a bag that actually looks like this. I wonder if I can pitch it to Stampin’ Up!

And so easy to make, but word of caution, if you are giving this to a child or someone with a pacemaker, please do not use magnets. Use Velcro dots or perhaps a ribbon closure instead. If you are going to use magnets, you need to search Amazon or Ebay for Neodymimum 8mm x 1mm magnets. They cost only a couple of ££ for about 50, and you’ll use them for so much!

Hope you have a super day.
