Gingham Butterfly Gala Picnic Lipped Box

Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Gingham Butterfly Gala Picnic Lipped Box

Gingham totally says picnic to me. I think I watched too many cartoons with Tom and Jerry, and read too many Enid Blyton Famous Five books. They always seem to have a gingham picnic blanket don’t they?

So gingham and picnics resonate in my mind, and I wanted to make a little picnic treat – maybe this could have some nuts or berries in a little plastic wrap? Maybe some sweeties?

But all picnics come with their array of wildlife – usually of the insect variety, but hopefully more of the butterfly type…

So I went with Butterfly Gala on my 2 boxes – Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape – and added in Noble Peacock rhinestones and wink of Stella with the adorable ribbons to match.

Sweet and summery and a lot of fun.

Hope you’re getting some outside foodie fayre too this summer.

This is such a lovely box that really takes no time to make and decorate! I love all your projects and some are just so special, like this one. I actually have gotten some great ideas of doing things from your projects. I’m thinking this might be very cute as a Valentine box using some old 6 x 6 papers I still have from a few years ago and have my granddaughter use them for her valentine treats! She loves to craft, too, and I bet she’d love these! Thanks again.
