Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Watercolour Pencil Wildly Happy Tutorial
I adore using my Watercolour Pencils, but more often than not, I use them simply to lay down colour and then I blend them to create a smooth effect, but on today’s card, I wanted to show you how I could get ‘fur’ on my fox but with pencils and still blend them.
Much easier than you’d expect, it’s all about putting the colour down in the direction you think the fur would go and then going over the top with the Blender Pen.
But it’s layers and layers, it’s going back over and keeping up the process. Definitely not one for an aqua painter, you need more control and that’s why the Blender Pens are perfect for this technique!
The Wildly Happy stamp set is adorable, there are loads of projects out there on the internet using it in loads of different ways, and I like how much richly red furred fox looks quite realistic!
Have a great day and I do hope this video gives you a little inspiration on using your watercolour pencils in a different way.
