Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – A Little Lace with Chalk Markers

You all know how much I love the A Little Lace stamp set and while I’ve used it with coloured inks and wink of Stella, today I wanted to colour it with a Chalk Marker instead.

I went for Tone on Tone stamping of Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and that allowed me to have a subtle flower edge and let the White Chalk Marker do the hard work.

Isn’t it striking?

I did originally plan to just have 2 layers of Crumb Cake cardstock, but I laid a piece of Whisper White down as a test and loved the look of the border, and ran with it.

Finished with a trio of Faceted Gems in silver, I adore this card and I’d be very happy if it dropped through my letterbox.
