Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Pootles Advent Countdown 2019 #7 Merry Moose Hygge Wreath Card
A lot of my crafting is just ‘what I fancy making that day’ rather than designed for a special event. I do use the world around me as inspiration, you all know that, but I love to let my creative nature wander off at it’s own tangent. However, every now and again, something else will catch my eye and inspire a project, and that’s what happened with this card.
I’d been chatting to my Mum about Hygge and using pinterest to show it to here. If you’re not familiar with Hygge, Pinterest and Google will be your friend here, but it’s in short, the Danish art of cosy, simple living – think chunky knitted throws, fluffy textured cushions, neutral tones etc. Anyway, while I was showing her some gorgeous Hygge images, we went off at our usual tangent and ended up searching Hygge Christmas and after scrolling for a few minutes (daydreaming of course!) a card popped up that just happened to be a Stampin’ Up! one. Now I’ve searched all over, but I can’t recreate that random ‘click, admire, scroll, click, admire, show more, show more’ that happens when you enter the pinterest realm, but put it this way, it was a cute wreath on a card.
What it didn’t have was a Moose. That bit was all me….!
I loved the styling of the wreath in neutral colours, so that’s what prompted this card, and not really being totally sure how to finish it, I just thought ‘what the heck, let’s get the Moose Punch out and have a looksie’.
I rather like it, in it’s weird and wonderful cute hygge way.
Have a super day, and if you take a stroll down Pinterest Lane, how long should I leave it before I send in the search party to locate you…?
