Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Pootles Advent Countdown 2019 #8 Christmas Layers Wreath
How frosty and icy is this Wreath?
Normally I have my Wreath later in my Advent Countdown series, however with this photo from the SU website doing the rounds and pretty much going viral, I couldn’t not use it as an inspirational springboard.
I’ve been asked how I made the rainbow wreath – just to clarify, I didn’t make it and it’s not my photo. SU kindly supplies us with photos to use when we have a special offer or event on, and as we currently have a Buy 3 DSP packs, get a 4th Free on right now, they created some samples and shared them. This gorgeous rainbow is made using the See a Silhouette DSP and the Seasonal Layers dies. I do show them in the video, but thought it would be an oportune moment to answer the many questions about how it was made!
Anyway, back to my project, well, as I said, it was inspired by the autumnal rainbow leaves, but I went Wintery with frosty blues, foils and snowflakes.
Mine are cut using the Christmas Layers dies, and yes, you’d be forgiven for missing them, they’re on page 16 and are bundled with the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, but it’s not a huge photo.
However, I enjoyed putting my frosty wreath together, and I hope you’ll take inspiration from both projects.
