Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Pootles Advent Countdown 2019 #10 When Stampin’ Up! CASEd Me for the Catalogue that time…
Last week, I was hunting through the Stampin’ Up! files in my back office, to see what images were out there that I could share with the team to use. I got a great look at a project from page 50 and I just knew it was my original project! I have had it confirmed from the design team that yes, they have CASEd my project (CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything/Everywhere) and it’s such a massive honour to have my project firstly cased by the design team, but also included in the Autumn Winter catalogue. It totally made my day.
However, my original project is from back in 2013 when I had only been a demo for 4 or 5 months, and my video set up isn’t as ‘clean’ as it is now, and the follow up version from 2017 didn’t have a video attached, so I thought it was an ideal opportunity to get a fresh version of it out to you, and of course, if you’d also seen the Pirate Treasure Chest in the catalogue and wondered how to make it, well now you know!
And while it is a treasure chest, I decided a wintery look was perfect for it with the Feels Like Frost DSP and snowflakes with the lovely ribbon around it.
I hope you make a version of this too, it’s really easy to make – top tip – liquid glue is your friend for this one…!

oooooo mini ginger bread house too cute love it
Love this little treasure chest! You could also use brads on the sides to hold them together, would be great if you used a wood grain paper and brads on the sides for a treasure chest. Thanks for this fun video and project.
On so clever and cute!!! I will be trying this today…feeling the need to craft instead of housework. Thank you Sam, All the way from Pennsylvania in the United States. Love your work and your accent.
