Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Pootles Advent Countdown 2019 #11 Drop Fronted Box Tutorial
Happy Monday everyone! I can’t believe we are into the 3rd week of this year’s Pootles Advent Countdown already. Where does time go?
This past weekend though, I’ve been with some of my team at a Team Retreat Training event I was hosting at a hotel in Birmingham. Although I’m typing ahead of time (I will have likely only got in at about 9pm last night), I do know that there will have been loads of fun had, lots of laughter, and of course, crafting!
Later in the week, when I’m awake again (I’m always exhausted when I get home from our team events!), I will share more of what we got up to, but I created 3 different Make and Take projects for the team to do over the 2 days and this is one of them.
I wanted them to make a Christmas box and the Wrapped In Plaid paper has really captured my heart, and I couldn’t resist using it with them.
They had options to use Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy on their projects, and I’m showing you 2 of possibly hundreds of variations you could make with all those gorgeous paper patterns.
Like all my projects, they’re way simpler to make than they look, and this one is quick but packs an impactful punch in the opening!
I hope you have a great Monday and you’re a bit more awake than me. Coffee is top of the menu today!

Such a clever box Sam.
Love this box; TFS!
Hi Sam, thanks for this lovely pattern.
There’s a little fault at the cm measurements. First one must be.. 9,5x 7 ( seven) not 4,5.
Just saying!
Oops yes, I meant to change it when we spotted it at the weekend!
Absolutely LOVE this little box! Very cute and different with that fold down front. I’m sure your team just loved it too. Thanks for sharing it with us.
