Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – Pootles Advent Countdown 2019 #13 Team Training Fancy, Fancy Card Tutorial!
Happy Wednesday everyone!
As promised, I have another project to share with you that I taught at our Team Retreat this weekend just gone.
Because we are now in prep-for-Christmas-time now, I wanted to make a really special card with everyone, and this one was inspired by the cards that may parents often buy for me. They’re always beautiful with a number of ‘pages’ inside, and Dad always writes his message on the final page.
So that was my inspiration point and I decided to create a couple of variations, though the team worked with Toile Tidings and I gave them enough supplies to make a Garden Green based one as well as a Real Red one.
Now, they’re easy to make, however, I really didn’t want to complicate everything with 3 sets of measurements – International A4 metric, International A4 Imperial, USA Imperial… yes, it could get messy.
So I decided to work with and write here only International A4 Metric – this is the standard measurement for most of the world, but as I’m working on the project while filming, I do explain the process and how you can make your own, in any size.

Shall be makeing a few off those thanks Sam they are lovely
What amazing cards Sam. I too prefer the centre not stuck down. These are indeed fabulous cards, but……. thinking they would make great mini albums as a little gift. At the mo I’m thinking of making one each for my 2 grandchildren and they could then choose some photos from Christmas and put them in themselves. Could ring the changes (DSP) to fit with any time of year too. Thanks so much Sam for, yet again giving me inspiration. Take god care x
You always come up with fantastic ideas and although they seem difficult, you always explain and make them so much easier to do with your showing them and explaining everything! Thanks so much. This is really fantastic!
Fab card! Love it lots! How do I accurately measure 1/2 of a mm please? As in 10.85cm
Love it, Sam! Wonderful, as always!
