Very Versailles is just such a beautiful set and I adore using it, and today I wanted to go monochromatic with it, but at the last minute, I decided to add that little ‘pow’ of colour with the Highland Heather Butterfly Wishes punch out and the trail of rhinestones from Noble Peacock.

Basic Grey ink and cardstock lends itself really well to this kind of monochrome. I love black and white, but it was just a little too hard for this stamp set and I’m glad I went with that lovely rich grey shade.

It highlights the purple so very well.

I do think that my butterfly trail went one-rhinestone-too-many on the left and I’ve since taken off that last one. It looks so much better!

But aside from rhinestones, I adore this card and I love the stamp set so much!
