The night before Christmas. A magical day and we absolutely start settling down into our familiar family traditions. It’s a day of heightened anticipation and excitement, a day when we all find being around one another the best thing ever and I love it. Christmas isn’t just one day, in fact, it’s not really even just the ‘season’, it’s what you make it – whether that’s lavish celebrations and decorations, or just a simple meal with a great film on TV and a nice box of chocolates.

But with young children in the house, we anticipate the arrival of Father Christmas and that means many a night of reading Christmas stories and books at bedtime, many of them with this lovely symbolic image of Father Christmas on his sleigh with his reindeer, silhouetted against a night sky.

So that took me to the Night Before suite with the amazing papers, this is one of them, the incredible Jolly Season dies and then to the stamp set. BUT, thought I love the matching stamp set, it was the Greatest Part of Christmas Free Stamp Set at the back of the catalogue that was the perfect fit. After all, it’s the last thing he says in the famous Clement C Moore Poem….
