Stampin’ Up! Year End Close Outs…
Happy Tuesday everyone!
As a busy Mum and a busy demonstrator, I am a huge fan of shopping online. I love to get notifications of new products, special offers, sales and more. And like many of us, perhaps those of you who read these blog posts and my emails, I’m a subscriber to many newsletters.
Well, let’s shelve that just for a moment while I share something I bought 12 months ago. I have a small collection of Swarovski crystal pieces. They’re all meaningful to me and buying the stocking while in Disney last year was fantastic as a memento of a trip there.
This year, I had pondered the matching Christmas Hat and the Holly Berries, but decided to wait and see if they popped up in the sale.
Fast forward to Christmas Eve evening and an email from Swarovski popped into my email, sharing that their sale had launched with 50% off many items.
Well, I was thrilled to see that both the pieces I was interested in were in the sale, but something inside of me felt a little ‘odd’ shopping for things for myself, knowing that I would be getting gifts the following day on Christmas Day. So other than adding the links to my pinterest board, I didn’t think anything more of it.
Roll on Christmas Day evening when it was quiet in the house and I thought that I’d go and order them.
Nope, gone. Both of them. I was so sad. I had really loved them and probably ought to have bought them at the time when I saw them initially, and maybe not even waited for a sale at all. And I certainly should have bought them when I saw them in the sale.
I will now learn!
But I thought this was a timely story to share with you all as our current Year End Close Out and Retiring Favourites sale ends on Thursday evening and if there’s something you’re after don’t wait. Please don’t. I’m now going to spend the next months kicking myself for not buying that hat and holly when I saw it. But that’s how it happens sometimes.
(be assured I swooped on the Pandora sale when that landed in my email inbox!)
Have a fabulous week, and don’t miss your bargains.
