A Million Thanks, and the last mince pie…
Oh my goodness. I’m not even sure I know how to start this blog post today. As you know, I schedule my blog posts ahead of time so that you always get a post at 7am (well, 7am my time!) each morning, and those will always happen, regardless of what else has happened in my life, and my business life too.
So you may or may not know, depending on social media, that on Wednesday afternoon, 22nd January, at just before 6.30pm, I had a customer order that took me over the 1,000,000 sales mark. While of course I could see that I was getting closer and closer, that order, and I was chatting to Ms Lesley at the time, and told her she was the order that had done it, well it was just amazing.
Given the time of it, it was right as dinner was happening, and having already had a busy day, Chris had popped a couple of pizzas in the oven. Nothing like family to keep you real – “great news Mum, can someone pass the pepperoni?”
They did absolutely congratulate me a bit more enthusiastically afterwards, but it was the most surreal feeling in the world!
But yesterday I jumped onto my facebook page to chat live as I knew it would be impossible to put into written words just how full my heart is that I’ve had support for the entire time I’ve been a demonstrator (6 years and 9 months!) and that all over the world, people have been sending love via emails, comments, PMs, DMs and more.
In fact, I had a card only a few days ago from a friend in America and it was wishing me well on the road to the million!
So I wanted to share the video from yesterday, I’ve managed to get it onto YouTube, so a huge thank you to everyone there too.
Oh and ‘The Last Mince Pie’ in the title? Oliver popped in to say hi.
With much love to you ALL, and huge gratitude for your love and support.
Sam x
Oh you decerve it. You are just a great inspiration for all of us.
Fantastic! Will you get to design a stamp set? Enjoy your huge achievement.
Well done Samantha you are such an inspiration and a lovely girl
Congratulations. You work so hard for all of us it’s great to see you get the recognition you deserve.
A huge congratulations, so happy for you! Enjoy and celebrate big time!
Congratulations, Samantha! Couldn’t have happened to a nicer person. Love all your projects and have been following you for over 5 years. Can’t wait to see the stamp set you have designed. Love from Florida USA Heather
Congratulations! That is absolutely amazing. You are an inspiration to all of us who love paper crafting!
Congratulations
Sam, you certainly should revel in the glory of having reaching such a milestone. In your live chat video you said you didn’t know how you felt, this I can understand – it’s so many emotions all together – you want to laugh at one end and you want to cry at the other – it really is a very odd load of emotions, butthe reason is very worth while. Do always remember that this would not have happened if it were not for the fact that it is YOU – your personality, help, kindness, the fact that you keep it REAL and therefore people can relate to you and enjoy all your projects. A HUGE WELL DONE with much love from me, Margaret xx xx
Huge congratulations Sam. You have worked really hard to achieve this milestone. I think I purchased one f the very first craft tutorials off you. I was very new to computers, couldn’t really get mine to work properly. It had to be the computer , not me, but you were very patient when I had to call you. I followed all your craft blogs, interspersed with the jewellery blogs on a Sunday, and still do follow all your blogs, enjoying all the news and chit chat. Many, many congratulations, thoroughly deserved.
Congratulations!
I’ve just joined and was surprised to see a familiar face when I logged in, have enjoyed your tutorial videos for quite some time.
Congratulations on your big accomplishment! That’s so great! Thanks for sharing your great designs with us all! You are appreciated!
I am real happy for your achievement!! Bravo!! I follow your videos from far away, in Bogotá Colombia, South America. Never miss one and love them. You are a charming inspiration!
Congratulations! What an amazing achievement. You are an inspiration.
Congratulations Sam, it’s well deserved!
Thanks for all your inspiration
Congratulations Sam!! All your hard work has paid off:) I’ve been following your blog for quite a while (approx. 2014) when a fellow demo shared one of your projects! I have a Mother’s Day Tea for my MIL and all her daughters and daughters-in-law and wanted to gift them some tea, so to the rescue … you! I can’t post a picture, but it was a multi-teabag holder which was inspired by a story from your parents about a trip they had recently gone on. I made the teabag holder for all 8 of the attendees and they loved it! So, I’ve been enjoying your blog with my morning coffee ever since! Congrats and thanks for all the inspiration! Here’s to the next million!
A HUGE congratulations to you Sam for reaching that awesome goal.
Enjoy!!!

Love the Video. So happy to see who is behind all the great projects you share. Congratulations to you!!!!!
Looking to many more inspirational videos. Oliver is a real cutie.
Congrats! I love watching your videos and hearing your voice. It was really great to see this video with YOU in it and seeing your lovely son, Oliver. He’s a cutie and I’m sure your other boys are, too. I love watching and learning all about the boxes, bags, etc and your cards are always lovely, too. I can’t wait to see what your stamp set is like, if we have to wait 18 months that seems like forever! But, I know it takes a good while for that to happen. Congrats, again, and may your life continue to be blessed and will continue to look forward to your blog daily!
Thank you for sharing your good news – and enthusiasm – with us. Though I have been unable to help you reach this goal (I live in Hawaii), your sharing the journey with us has helped us live it vicariously. I especially enjoy the 3-D projects – boxes, little favors, etc. I have made these a lot – for friends, neighbors, church groups, etc. They all think I am totally clever!! Sometimes, when you come up with multi-sided creations, I wonder if you have an engineering degree! Enjoy your time in my State next month, and soak up all the love and support from your colleagues at that event.
Congratulations on your wonderful achievement!, unfortunately I can’t order any craft supplies from you as I live in New Zealand, but you have been an inspiration and great teacher as I have watched your tutorials on box making in the past two years.
Thanks for sharing your talents and enthusiasm for craft.
Regards,
Catherine Best,

A belated huge congratulations on your amazing achievement.
One of my favourite part of following you is how often you say. I LOVE MY job. I honestly love crafting and wish it was my job, so to see you say it and hear it makes my heart sing.
FYI, I have only one order ever from Stampin Up and it was from a demonstrator that lived around the corner so no postage but I will try to support you in the future.
