#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Desktop Tool Caddy Tutorial
You have no idea just how excited I am to bring this project to you today!
I wanted something strong and sturdy for my desk after my New Year move around of my desks, and I have to say, though my first prototype wasn’t quite right (I do show it in the video, and yes, I do literally throw it over my shoulder…!), what I had in my head was exactly what came out.
I love that this is made using 2 sheets of cardstock and then a little over half of another sheet, and then ‘bits and scraps’ of DSP for the tubes.
Oh and the tubes? Removable, replaceable, change them as you want!
The project is so so easy to make, you just need to create yourself a template for your layering circle dies and then you’re good to go!
So do enjoy it and have a super week!

Brilliant project Sam. Thanks so much for the design and all your hard work that you do for us. xx
Thanks so much Sam , I love all of your projects and immediately made one like the above – I did find some of my larger tools fell over so added a layer of a foam type material to the bottom – I used some of the material that comes with some of the Stampin up storage system ( yes , a bit of a hoarder ! )
I really love the original caddy but now we have the new Stampin’ Seal and it won’t fit , oh no ! Are you or will you be working in a tutorial for a new version of the original please ?
I soooo wish that I’d seen this and your square/rectangle ‘Desk Tidy’ at the beginning of LOCKDOWN. I’ve downloaded and printed out the instructions to both and I’m ready to roll (get it?!) Sooo many pretty / suitable papers to choose – from all three of the current catalogues at the moment. NOT forgetting all the dsp that I’ve been hoarding!
Thanks Sam! <3
