My husband is a fan of motorbikes. He has 6 bikes on our garage – 3 full size bikes, 2 small ones and another full size one in parts in boxes scattered across the floor. That was my Christmas gift to him – a doer-upper bike…

However, had he not built a Cafe Racer out of a box of parts last year, I wouldn’t have bought him another box of bits, but he built one that looks just like the bike on this card, and yes, he has red striping down the tank, mudguard and tail section….!

It was a labour of love, and on the odd occasion while filming, you’ll hear him bashing and hammering in the garage below my office!

So when I saw this stamp set, it was a definite purchase for me, just so I could make cards for him! And in fact, the previous motorbike stamp set was possibly the most used one in my office. The boys always grabbed it when they wanted to make a card for Daddy!

I kept my card simple in colour – memento black onto the real red cardstock and then my light Cherry Cobbler blends pen for the detailing on the bike itself.

I love the sentiment and I adore this card. Chris rather likes it too!
