Timeless Tulips Customer Thank You Cards

#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Timeless Tulips Customer Thank You Cards

Ah, this is possibly my favourite craft project to make. My monthly thank you cards for everyone who shopped with me last month.

This month, I couldn’t decide which colour combination to work with and I ended up with 7 different colours! I know, I know, I’m fickle!

I knew I wanted to make a very springlike card for everyone, even though it’s still only February, but as soon as the tulips are in the shops, I will be filling my house with them and hoping that the ones that I grow in my garden will bloom soon.

Before I get onto the different colours, I want to share the ‘how I stamped them all identically’ part of it….

I’m sure it will be no surprise, but I used my stamparatus for this! And because I stamped directly onto each notecard, I first cut a piece of paper the same size, so I could align it all on there. The 2 stems were stamped first with Pear Pizzazz, then each card had the top right tulip and the sentiment stamped at the same time.

It was fast to do in terms of stamping, I just had to keep a track of how many punched tulips I had in each colour way, and keep an eye on that so I didn’t have too many of one colour and not enough tulips.

Because yes, I punched those first!

I essentially ran through my paper racks to pull out small sheets of the colour DSP stacks and any that I had more of than other colours. That’s how I ended up with 7 different colours, aside from not having enough sheets of a single colour!

And those colours?

Seaside spray, coastal cabana, bermuda bay, flirty flamingo, petal pink, blushing bride and highland heather.

I loved making these, and I really do hope they are enjoyed too!

Have a super Thursday

I absolutely love how you did the tulips. Because of all my allergies I can’t have live plants , flowers etc in the house. I think I have almost all the flower stamps. That’s how I enjoy flowers.

Congratulations too on making the million mark.
